Release Notes

What’s new

  1. New Internal Instrumentation and Error Logging

We observed delays in transaction replication times due to a combination of factors that included amongst other factors, an unexpected update in the Google environment along with our usage of specific functions that now behave differently under these circumstances. While having no direct impact on any customer applications of Loyyal’s platform, we implemented a new approach to instrumentation and error logging on internal system functions. This increases our ability to investigate and respond faster to any future change in replication velocity, and thus restore service to our performance standards as quickly as possible.

There is no impact on customer applications, and no changes or accommodations are necessary on your part.

Fixes

  1. Database Traffic Routing

A further impact of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) update was an instability in the Kubernetes cluster network for management of Loyyal’s node instances, and the accompanying database functionality that we utilize for tracking our nodes, and the routing of traffic to them. We resolved this through enhancing our service wrappers to provide finer control of traffic in/out of our database instances.

There is no impact on customer applications, and no changes or accommodations are necessary on your part.
